Name of the Lab: - Language lab

    Based on today’s requirement of industry it is very much important for students to develop their communication skill and personality. Basic aim for creating language Lab is to build confidence-building among students for interactions and presentations in English. So a Language lab is created in college for students to practice the language with much wider variety of practice and exercises based on computers. Learning occurs in a structured way, in a real context and visually attractive way that immerses the student in the language learning environment and promotes language use.

    Department of Mechanical Engineering has well equipped Language Lab with availability of 20 Computers all are in LAN Switch. Also it contains 20 numbers of headphones. Language lab has ETNL 3.0 Software for the use of students. Department have prepared a batch of size of 20 students so that individual student can get computer for handling (Student Computer Ratio is 1:1).

    Language Lab contains Six English Grammar CD, Two Personality Development CD and One Dictionary CD. Also the students can access audio or audio-visual materials. They allow a teacher to listen to and manage student audio, which is delivered to individual students through headsets or in isolated 'sound booths. This study material is available in college hours i.e. from 09.00am to 5.00am.

    One faculty member is involved in helping students to use the lab.Apart from the guidance given in the subject there is one lab In charge to take care of the technical aspect of the lab.
