Department At A Glance:-

    Department of mechanical engineering has made steady progress since its inception. This department is affiliated to AICTE, New Delhi and MSBTE, Mumbai. Currently it has annual intake of 60 students. What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters as compared to what lies within us. With this motto we are striving to develop our students.


    Department has well qualified and dedicated faculties who are always engaged in improving of teaching learning process. Under MESA, students activities are given due importance with number of programs being arranged for overall personal development of the students. Department has successfully completed state level competition like Robo Race, Quiz competition & Paper presentation and department has also successfully completed social activities like Tree Plantation, Blood donation, Swachy Bharat Abhiyan etc. programs in the academic year 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. Our students have appeared for interviews and selected of various companies such as TATA Motors, John Deer, Spicer India Ltd, Mahindra and Mahindra, Sigma electronics, POSCO India pvt. Ltd, Varroc Engineering, ZF India Pvt.Ltd., COSMO Megana Pvt.Ltd., Carraro Technologies India pvt.Ltd, Hatson Agro Propduct, Skoda Auto Voles Wagon, Bosh Chasis System Pvt. Ltd. In the academic year 2020-21 our 11 students are selected in well reputed companies..

    Our department has achieved good academic result with proper guidance of faculty. The result of third year students is excellent. In the academic year 2020-21, out of 47 students, 47 students have passed (Result 100 %). Our most of the Students have scored more than 90 % marks in the MSBTE Exam. Many of our students have scored more than 80% marks in the MSBTE exam. Our department has successfully completed Inplant training such as CNC machine, CREO 3.0 & CATIA also arranging workshops on Computer Integrated Manufaturing and Emerging Trends in Mechanical Engineering. More than 60 students have participated in state/national level events such as Quiz competition, Robo Race, Poster presentation, Brain Storming, Treasure Hunt etc. at different colleges. In state level competition many students have got 1st prize and runner up for different events. Many Students from Mechanical Department have participated in various zonal and internal zonal sport competitions and contributed their best to win for college.

Program Educational Objective (PEOs) :-

  1. To provide the students with fundamental knowledge of the basic science, mathematics & engineering concepts required for mechanical engineering.
  2. To enable students to understand, design, construct, analyze & utilize various mechanical engineering systems.
  3. To enable students to solve the problems of industry and society as an individual and as a team member.
  4. To enable students to be an innovator, creator & leader to work multi- disciplinary work environment.
  5. To inculcate professionalism, entrepreneurship based on ethics.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs) :-

  1. To understand and utilize latest Mechanical engineering related software’s for simple design, drafting, manufacturing, maintenance and documentation of mechanical engineering components and processes.
  2. Apply their knowledge in the domain of engineering mechanics, thermal and fluid sciences to solve engineering problems utilizing advanced technology.
  3. Develop and implement new ideas on product design and development with the help of modern CAD/CAM tools, while ensuring best manufacturing practices
  4. To enable students to be technocrats and entrepreneurs for the advancement of industry by following social and ethical practices

Program Outcomes (POs) :-

  • After the completion of this of this program students will able to :
  1. Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and Mechanical Engineering fundamentals to solve the Mechanical Mechanical Engineering problems.
  2. Identify and analyse well-defined Mechanical Engineering problems using codified standard methods.
  3. Design solutions for well-defined Mechanical Engineering related problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
  4. Apply modern Mechanical Engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
  5. Apply appropriate Mechanical Engineering technology in context of society sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
  6. Use Mechanical Engineering concept individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate aboutwell defined Mechanical Engineering activities.
  7. Ability to analyse individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.
